Accessibility Statement

My ND Coach is committed to making our website and services accessible to as many people as possible, including disabled and neurodivergent users.

We’ve designed myndcoach.co.uk with accessibility in mind, and we work continuously to improve the experience for everyone who visits.

What we’ve done

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. In practical terms, that means we try to ensure:

  • Text is clear, readable, and can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function
  • Colour contrast meets accessibility standards
  • The site can be navigated using a keyboard alone, without needing a mouse
  • Images include descriptive alt text where they convey meaning
  • Headings and page structure are used consistently to help screen reader users
  • Forms have clear labels and instructions
  • Videos and audio content include captions or transcripts where used
  • The site is designed to work with assistive technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech recognition software

Because our work centres on neurodivergent people, we also try to:

  • Use plain, direct language
  • Avoid unnecessary jargon
  • Break content into manageable chunks
  • Avoid auto-playing media, flashing content, or unexpected movement
  • Keep navigation predictable and consistent

Known issues

We have not yet had a formal accessibility audit of this site. We’re working on this and will update this statement with our findings.

If you find an accessibility issue we haven’t listed here, please tell us. We genuinely want to know.

How to request adjustments

If you need information from this website or our services in a different format, please get in touch. We can usually provide:

  • Large print versions of documents
  • Plain text versions of PDFs
  • Audio versions of written content (on request, where reasonable)
  • Easy-read summaries of key information
  • Communication by your preferred method (email, voice note, written, video call with captions, etc.)

To request an adjustment, email accessibility@myndcoach.co.uk or use the contact form. We’ll aim to respond within five working days.

If you’re booking a coaching session and need specific adjustments to make the sessions accessible to you, please let us know in advance. Adjustments we can typically offer include:

  • Written summaries after each session
  • Sessions delivered by email, voice note, or messaging rather than video call
  • Shorter or longer session formats
  • Sensory-friendly session set-ups (low lighting, no video, etc.)
  • Pre-session agendas so you know what to expect
  • Permission to stim, fidget, look away, lie down, or move during sessions

This list isn’t exhaustive. If something else would help, ask. The whole point of neurodivergent coaching is meeting you where you are.

Reporting accessibility problems

If you encounter any accessibility issues on this website or with our services, please contact us. We take all feedback seriously and will:

  • Acknowledge your message within five working days
  • Investigate the issue
  • Tell you what we’re going to do about it, and by when
  • Offer an alternative way for you to access the information or service in the meantime
